On the road again

Thanks to his parents [once again] they took care of his responsibility. They paid the purge payment for him to get his drivers license back.

At least he got to spend a month with his parents helping them out with their health and things. I think this time around he had time to think about his financial situation versus what his precious wife has been telling him. Whether or not he actually does something about it remains to be seen.

I know one thing ... I will not be so helpful with paperwork as I was last time. He decided not to alter the child support payment [gee what a shock]. Although he is no longer paying $2,000 a month for the truck payment, it seems those funds just disappear into the wife's retirement stash account along with her 40-hour paycheck each week. He needs to get a backbone back!! Oh well.

JB Bochu license pulled

Finally something happens to this deadbeat. The State of California submitted his license number into the driver pointer system indicating his driving privileges are suspended. [yeah].

Thanks to California, Kentucky mailed him a notice saying he would not be able to renew his KY license when it expires on Oct-12-2008. This is going to put a crink in his truck driving job. Nothing like waiting till the last minute to remedy this situation. Gee, the notice was mailed Jul-10-2008.

Not to want to have this happen, once again the boogey-evil ex-wife called California to find out what needed to be done to fix things ... not like his current wife could not get this information, duh. Anyway, they want a payment of 15% of his balance [~6500.00] to release the license and a new agreement to pay his $45,000.00 arrearage at a better rate than his current $109.25 a month payment.

Yes, I helped his out once again. I typed up a Declaration along with a new Child Support agreement for an increase in arrearage. Now lets see what he trys to pull this time around. Time will tell ... unfortunately.

Old children tossed aside

It never ceases to amaze me how someone can have a child and then decide when they met another partner, they can simply allow their child to fade away out of their lives. You see them everyday for years then one day things change. When your visitation schedule kicks in, instead of wanting to spend every moment with their child, they seem to find every excuse to not come and see their child. Then within a year, it seems your child is out of their lives.

It is hard enough for children to understand divorce or breakups when they realize their parents are not together. But there is no reason to simply divorce or breakup from your children. Yes, sometimes dealing with your ex-partner is difficult, and dealing with your new partners gripes about seeing your ex, but get over it. Your children are all that matter. They should make you want to overcome the battles. Find someone to be the person to pickup your children, or maybe arrange for them to be dropped off at a relatives house.

Do something for your children ... do not forget them.

John knows his entire payment goes to pay his daughter's rent. So comes January-2008 and guess what . . .

* It is LA County who is not posting payments [yeah right - they can only post money when you send it]

John Bochu continues to be a dead beat

Although his only daughter is over 18-years old, John Bochu still owes for child support as she is now attending college.


Because John Bochu did not keep his child support payments up-to-date while she was growing up, we told John his child support payments [if he decides to send one] are given in their entirety to our daughter for her monthly college rental payment.


One would tend to think being her parent, he would be proud of his child attending college and would make sure his payments reached the Los Angeles processing center with plenty of time to spare for the payment to reach me for rent submittal. However, guess again.


Rather than mailing out the payment within the first 10-days of the month, John waits until the last week of the month. Just another game to play ... with his daughter's education on the line.

Dead Beat Father John Bochu

As of Dec-25-2007, John Bochu aka "JB Bochu" owes $44,004.26 in child support for his only daughter.

This amount will be increased as this figure does not include his past due support for medical expenses nor the 2% yearly increase which started Jan-1999 on $437/month.

John lives in Green Rivers, KY near Paducah with his wife Melissa Temple Mahoe, her mother and her two children. Unfortunately his wife has been the major thorn in what was a very good relationship between divorced parents.

John is an Independent Owner Operator truck driver. He "leases" his truck / services to Swift Transportation of Phoenix, AZ where he drives about 120,000 miles a year; making more than $1.25 per mile.

Not to have his paycheck garnished, the business was put into his wife's name.
